Punchy Rifle, Tons Of Features
Punch little rifle with tons of features. You can run it right out of the box with some fixed irons or some flip up backups like I tried on it. And from there you can enjoy it as is or start slapping goodies on it from all over the shop. I chose to put a bi-pod and a dot/magnifier on it for my own preference. Easy and pleasant to breakdown and clean. Charging handle was easy to move around once I emailed FM products. (The set screw for the charging handle is tucked in there pretty good but if you rack the handle back halfway you can just get at it from the side with a regular Allen wrench.) Literally only downside is that the stock to cheek-weld profile could be a smidge higher out of the box if you have a different skull size like I do. Thankfully the Zhukov has a .25/.50/.75 inch riser that I had delivered next day on Amazon for like 11 dollars or whatever. I slapped the .75" riser on it so that my skull can be profiled better in the eye-box. It holds zero, smells like gunpowder when you're done with it, is a little gassy even un-suppressed but after you get it broke in after say 150 rounds of 556 it was good to go. My recommendations are to load 5 or 10 rounds into a 30 when you're getting it warmed up. It'll start running before you realize it and then you'll be cursing yourself for not buying more ammo before too long. They didn't pay me for this review, I just flat out like it. I don't usually get down on DI firearms due to being too "finicky" and there's nothing "finicky" about this. Can fire 60 rounds nonstop with a folded stock, what's more to ask for besides a full auto option?
It's cool
It's a solid rifle. The machine work is very high quality. Love the foldy-ness and the front charging. It's quite light, all kitted out I'm at 7.5 pounds with optic. The extra height of the upper and handguard are a necessary evil. Another reviewer mentioned that the Zhukov stock doesn't line up just right with standard height optic mounts, I agree and find this to be the case. I am using a low mount on my scope and can get a good cheek weld and sight picture, but can't really co-witness with BUIS. Now I get to rock 45 offset irons like a real deal 0perat0r. My only real gripe is that I wish the ejection port was a teeny bit smaller as there is a gap behind the bolt carrier that is kinda open to the world. Unsure if this is technically possible but hey this is the internet. Break in period is a real thing, after about 500 rounds it runs like a sewing machine. It prefers brass during the break in. For the price, it's a solid buy and G2G. It's a simple, reliable system that offers a lot of ergonomic advantages over a standard M4/AR pattern. Accurate and pleasant shooter. Total aside, the company seems like it is run by solid dudes and the lifetime warranty is neat, heard lots of stories on forums about them standing by their product. Luckily I haven't had to find out. CMMG is now doing the same thing for over twice the price. You can feel good about this purchase. Cheers fellas.
One of my favorites
I purchased the 16" as well as the 11.5" pistol version. I shot the 16" primarily and was able to zero at 100y and hit targets at 500y without issue. A bit more fine tuning with my scope could yield a bit more in its capability. Some things to note about the rifle: I had some issues with the first round in a magazine going into battery and having light primer strikes that were rectified through break-in. After a couple magazines, I had zero errors. The biggest issue I had was getting proper eye level with my sight. Be aware the Zhukov stock and the folding, mounting system sits 0.25" lower than a standard AR. You may have to buy the $15 0.25 Magpul AK Riser to get the proper eye line. I paired my 30mm LVPO with a low mount, cantilever scope mount. In all, it only cost an additional $50, but I wish there were a way to have the stock sit at the same level as a buffer tube would. This is information I wish had been noted in reviews/videos before purchasing the rifle. Am I happy with my FM-15? Yes, it's probably my favorite AR long gun, now. Would the sight-line information have changed my decision to buy? Maybe, but ultimately I'm happy to own such a unique rifle. Time will tell if I enjoy the pistol length version as much as the 16". Though, I do hope Foxtrot Mike develops a 300BLK, short barrelled upper of the same style.

So far the FM-15 223 Wylde 16" Gen II Rifle has been great! Keeps shooting at about 1.5-2 MOA at 100 yards. Reliable, light, different than the other AR15 family! I like it!!

GREAT PRODUCT BY FOXTROT MIKE. UNFORTUNATELY IN NY HAVE TOO LOCK A MAG BUT OPERATES GOOD. I HAD A MINOR ISSUE WITH THE STOCK AND HAD TO SEND IT IN FOR SERVICE. FOXTROT MIKE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WITH THE REPAIR. GREAT GUYS
An interesting recoil mechanism/rifle
The FM-15 has proven to me that it is a reliable, accurate, and well thought out 5.56 rifle. It has not had a single stoppage since extremely early on (first 20 rounds had an failure to fully lock open on a empty mag, excluding tinkering with spring tension failure of the same) with nearly 700 rounds through the gun, its looking all good from here. Accuracy is 1.5moa down to 1moa with its favorite bulk ammo (norma tac 55gr). When i say well thought out i mean things like the zhukov stock adapter is very well made and greatly reduces the flex of the zhukov stock compared to the standard polymer latch housing (this one is aluminum). Along with that, it has wrench flats cut into the barrel for muzzle device installation and a handguard that will clear larger diameter muzzle devices like keymo. Oh, it also suppresses extremely well, and is tunable using different recoil springs (i contacted FM for those). I was able to find a spring tension that was slightly higher than the stock spring, but would function 100% unsuppressed and suppressed, so i wont need to swap springs, just screw on the can. If i get super picky, id say my only con is the recoil spring is kind of a trick to remove and replace. It is kinda a three hand job until you figure out a trick. If you find yourself without a punch to fit then you may be out of luck. The trigger is also not amazing, but its just your usual milspec deal and is easily swapped to a better trigger.
Amazing rifle, accurate and reliable
I saw the teaser video on Foxtrots Mikes IG page and decided to order one. I was not disappointed, shoots 1moa and is super reliable. Surprised me how flat it shot, great quality super happy with it.
