Easy o install
I needed a replacement fo my TISAS Yukon and this worked like a champ. Careful use of a lighter to swell the ends to stay put.

If you have the tools to install this, it is a good way to upgrade your sights.
Easy filament repair
I have a S&W M&P Pro Series .40 that came with the Novak high-viz sights from the factory. I was shooting and the sights became no-viz - as in the front element went missing. I was guessing at size (didn't think to take a small drill from my box of many bits and find out approx. sizing) but the 1.5 mm turned out to be correct. Cut an approximate length, melted the ends with a lighter - slight heat and they pool right over and hold it in. Nice bright green - like the original - easy fix!
Very Bright
These are very bright and true to size. I opened my Novak front sight (.040") on my Colt 1911 to .060" and slipped one of these in. Great sight picture and bright, just outstanding for quick pick up shooting.
Fiber optic rods
The rods i ordered where a little smaller than the one that ce on a Colt competition. the larger rod i bought i flared the ends it should work.
Wish it was brighter!
Used this replace my stock red fiber optic on my walther ppq q5 match. I didnt like the stock red one that came installed. I like it better than red, but I wish it was as bright as the stock one. Doesnt really matter as I am running a green dot sight.
1out of 5
About 1 out of every 4 are .070 or larger making them useless for for .060 bore holes. If you try to force the rod in the rod fill with fractures. Looking for other sources currently.
