The Brownells Extractor Rod Tool for S&Ws are machined aluminum clamp maintains a secure hold of the extractor rod for fast, easy removal without scratching or gouging the metal surface. Steel, Allen head screw tightens to pull the clamping halves together for a non-slip hold. Grasp the tool and unscrew the extractor. Ensures professional-looking results every time. Available for Smith & Wesson revolvers. Recommended for use with the Brownells Adjustable Extractor Support Tool.

Measure Your Extractor Before Purchase!
Not all S&W factory extractors for K, L, N frame revolvers will work with these tools, best to measure before purchase. I have a new K-Frame Model 19 Carry Comp with a .223" knurled tip and a .159" shaft. My 686+ L-Frame is a perfect fit for this tool with an extractor rod diameter of .243". Tools are nicely made. Thank you Brownells for supporting gunsmithing with excellent tools, maybe update description.
