Measure Your Extractor Before Purchase!
Not all S&W factory extractors for K, L, N frame revolvers will work with these tools, best to measure before purchase. I have a new K-Frame Model 19 Carry Comp with a .223" knurled tip and a .159" shaft. My 686+ L-Frame is a perfect fit for this tool with an extractor rod diameter of .243". Tools are nicely made. Thank you Brownells for supporting gunsmithing with excellent tools, maybe update description.

A Must Have for S & W Disassembly
I have been putting off buying this S & W Extractor Tool but with a newly purchased Model 15 that was sticky to open and decided to get one. Very handy tool and more convenient than improvising.

Works well, but not for a 1917
The tool is functional, sturdy, and easy to use. It just didn’t fit the ejector rod for my M1917 revolver. The knob at the end of the rod is too thick to fit.

Works great, but not for me!
I got this for a S&W M1917 revolver. It doesn’t fit the ejector rod. The tool itself is well-made, easy-to-use, and very functional.

Ejector Rod Removal Tool
Excellent tool! Well worth the wait.still a good price compared to the other tools of similar task. Unscrewed a bent rod from a vintage revolver. The tool left no marks or scratches.
