Great fix for revolver grips
These escutcheon screws help with the problem of trying to match different gunmaker's size/thread count/length requirements in that they are 5-44 x 1 3/8 and have their own escutcheons too. You can press out the existing escutcheons from the original or replacement grips, press in these, grind or cut the screw to length. Since the ones I bought have the silver screws, the match a number of the OEM screws of various gun manufactures.

Does the job
Was glad to discover this product, and it's just what's needed for my hand-made grips. I like the extra-long screw.
The all thread is perfect
I make Elk horn grips for various models of single actions, having the full length threads makes building handles much easier, being able to adjust the length to fit the natural contours is very handy.
Wonderful!
The most difficult aspect of these was drilling the hole to the correct depth in the grips, which has absolutely zero to do with the product. So far I've only used one of the six sets of screws and escutcheons, but it looks good, and is doing exactly what I bought it to do, hold the grips tightly to the frame. Just make sure to drill the hole using the correct drill bit. I used a letter size 'D' drill, which is 0.246" diameter.
Works great for the do-it-yourself guru
Great product for the do it yourself gun enthusiast. The extra length screws are very versatile when making various size gun grips.
Very Good 99% of the Time
I have ordered over 600 pairs of these grip screws over the last four years and they've been of very good quality the entire time. The only problem that I've had was a missing ferrule (once). Other than that, they've been exactly what I've needed.
I would, and have, buy this product.
For years I have bought and used this product for my handcrafted grips. Have found them extremely useful and easy to use.
Not so Great
Product is okay if you are replacing the inserts and screws entirely. They ARE NOT replacements for lost S&W grip screws. The thread pitch is not compatible with existing inserts.
