Easy to use tool for Glock Front Sights.

This is a great tool for Glock front sights, screw driver handle makes it easy to grasp when tightening or removing screw. A must have tool for any Glock Handgun owner,

Worked great for me.

I read some of the reviews and I was subsequently a little nervous about ordering it. I did anyway and it worked great for me. Again, some of the reviews make it sound like its made of pot metal. Buy with confidence and use it properly. I cant imagine you having a problem with it.

Enhanced Front Sight Tool for Glocks

Been threatening myself for some time to get one of these and I wish i had done it sooner as it sure doe's make it easier than the options including Glock's own tool, this one work just as well and is much easier to use at least for me it's a great tool, thank's Brownell

Works just fine

I bought this to put new Trijicons on a variety of different Glocks, so far Ive changed 8 sights with no issue. What I did notice though, if you dont hold it straight, or close to straight, you can round off or strip out. Its not the fault of the tool, its the geometry of Glocks front sight screw. I suppose Brownells could make the depth of the tip a little more shallow to help prevent this, but that could also make it harder to get the tool onto the screw. Just take your time, make sure the slide is laying flat on a table or workbench, and slowly back the screws out and same story putting the new ones on.

Easy peezy

If you don't know what you're doing, take it to a gunsmith. If you do, this tool is great. Does NOT deform or strip screws. Eat your wheaties and hold it square. Also, you don't heat the tool, you heat the screw. Again, see first sentence.

Great!!

This product is much better than the Glock version. You can get a good handle on it and enough leverage to get a tight futon that front sight. I highly recommend this above any other front sight tool.

It worked for me!

I've done a few Glock front sight installs, so far. No issues. I had to loosen one front sight after the blue locktite had already set, and had no problem resetting and re-tightening the front sight.

Too easy!

Step one, heat up front sight screw with a lighter or match for 3-5 seconds. Step two, once the original loctite is loosened up, this enhanced front sight tool makes short work of front sight screws. Step three, place new front sight into recessed slot, start screw in a few threads, apply a tiny dot of blue loctite to visible threads, and then finish screwing it the rest of the way in. Hand tight will do it. Do not gorilla fist tighten the screw. I don't know why people are having such a hard time with this tool.

Needs QC checks

The concept is great and I like the plastic handle. Problem is the business end of the tool wasn't made correctly and wouldn't fit the hex head of the screw. I had to return it. Not sure how it was made but it looked like someone tried to compression fit the end and overshot. It would be a great tool if it was made correctly. Didn't expect this from Brownell's. I would still recommend the tool but you might have to return it for a good one.
