Great trigger
I should have gotten one of these years ago. The stock trigger can go straight into the trash.
Easy Install
I ordered the Timney Elite Hunter for the 700 Remington as a replacement for my Springfield Model 2020 22 Rimfire. The Springfield 22 comes with a Remington 700 trigger so you can upgrade the factory trigger which is set at 4 pounds which is little heavy for me. The installation was very easy but the factory trigger is held by three pins. I removed the front, back and middle pins and the factory trigger pulled out and the Timney trigger fit perfectly. You dont have to worry about keeping the pins in to release the bolt stop and sping as the Model 2020 Rimfire is designed differently from a Remington 700. Also there is no middle hole so you can keep this pin with the factory trigger in a bag. I have not shot my rifle yet but the Timney trigger breaks a lot better than the factory trigger. I can't wait to get to the range.

Excellent break without take up or over travel
This trigger shrunk my 338 RUM 100 yard group by 2/3. Rem 700 LA Mag trigger was hard on pull and had take up and a bit of over travel. The instructions were excellent with sharp, color photos to guide.
Working trigger
I use trigger on Remington 700, 308 cal rifle. Installation was easy after reading docs and one or two Youtube shows. Worth the money.
Easy install, works great
I have two Remington 700 rifles and just installed this Timney in a Remington 700 Muzzleloader. This is a very good Trigger and easy to install. The trigger "breaks" at 3 pounds.
Excellent trigger
If you have ever wanted to upgrade the trigger on your Rem 700, do yourself a favor and buy this trigger. I have several Timneys and they are by far my favorite. True glass break release, very precise adjustments and solid construction. And they come with detailed, useable instructions. The pull weight can be dialed down to the point of being too light, which the instructions warn you about. But that is the nature of a precise trigger, and once you get it set to your exact comfort level, your shooting will be so much better than with the factory trigger youll kick yourself for not getting one sooner.
Great upgrade
The trigger was easy to install and worked as advertised. Adjusting was easy and worked as advertised. This trigger has a great feel and the release is crisp and predictable. I cant think of any negatives except possibly the price, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

Easy install..
Very pleased with this purchase. Installed in my 30 year old 700 BDL in about ten minutes. The original trigger sometimes broke at 5 1/2 pounds sometimes 6 1/2 pounds or anywhere in between. After dropping this trigger in, now a crisp 3 1/2 pounds. I didn't make any adjustments to weight as this is a rifle for the woods. Great price and super shipping from Brownells, Thanks
