Lyman digital trigger pull gauge
Changing to Yodave trigger spring in Tikka T3X wanted to go as low as possible with pull. This averaged me around one pound and two ounces. The roller on pull gauge works great , simple to use.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Trigger tester
Simple excellent piece of equipment very useful. Don’t know how I went without one for so long.
Good value on trigger gauge
I always just set my triggers by feel. When checked by this gauge there was a larger disparity than expected. I used this to ensure all rifles are setup the with the same pull weight. To use make sure you are accurate I found that you need to start slow and steady in order to get consistent measurements. I used the average of 3 pulls to set my trigger weight. Now to get to shooting & see if I find tangible improvements in my shooting.
Perfect Trigger Pull Gauge
After installing a single stage ss trigger it was set too touch sensative below a setting of 1lb 8oz, trigger, I reset to 2lb 4.0oz. A good single stage short pull BANG! Without this trigger pull gauge I would not know what the adjustment would be. A must have IF YOU Adjust trigger settings. Be safe follow all trigger manufacturer's directions, and gauge instructions. Easy to use IMHO.
Easy and accurate
I used it to pick the best connector for a Glock pistol that I was working on for a friend. I like being able to average out a number of pulls. Works real well
Trigger pull gage
Good piece of equipment. Remember to use the 10 pulls averaging when you use it for accuracy.
Good value for a trigger gauge.
Very accurate and easy to use. It seems very accurate on sucessive readings as well.
A great piece of gunsmithing tools
Bought a 2nd one to replace the one I sold to my gunsmith
pretty nice tool
Needed to test some trigger pulls on my guns. When I was done I took it into my local Gunsmith and he was so impressed with the 4 position and shape of the pull rod and the ability to average the pulls, he bought the unit from me on the spot.
Easy to Use and seems consistent
Needed a guage to measure/set weight on a used Anschutz which was TOO heavy. The Lyman gauge is a great help, easy to use, seems consistent (if used the same way each time!). Auto averaging is helpful
