I have Springfield Echelon 4.5 and love that gun to death. I've upgraded some minor areas, mostly cosmetic, a couple regarding accuracy and recoil. I changed the rod guide and spring to a stronger one, extended magazine release, added a new extended slide stop and added a slide racket plate. I did wanted to bring up to Brownells ordering department on their 10, 15. 17 round magazines it seems like when you have them on sale you are out before you start the sale. I know because I'm always on your site looking specifically for the 10 rounders since I live here in California. But I guess after yesterday's vote by the Supreme Court, I don't have to worry about only using 10 rounders. I just received you ad stating get your order for magazine and thought great I'll buy a few 10 rounders, guess what your out of stock. Just wanted you to have the info.

Springfield Echelon is an excellent gun with exceptional magazines in 10, 17, 20 round capacities. They have butt caps that add 3-4 extra rounds to each mag. Mags are metal, built well. Takes a few loads to breakin for easy loading, little stiff spring in the beginning. Slides in gun easy, never had a problem with any of the mags running various brands of 9mm. Love my Echelon, would not trade for anything right now on the market.
