DXT2 BIG DOT FOR GLOCK® 43/42 Reviews & Ratings
Great Sights
I replaced my Ameriglo which are great but my eye sight is getting worst so I figure get the biggest most obnoxious sights I could find in order to make it easier for me to pick them up when presenting my weapon to the threat.....well this sights did that and more, the human eye focuses intuitively and naturally to round shape objects and the size plus the color makes it so easy and natural to see under any conditions...the night sights are sharp and bright and the luminescent area collects enough light to be very visible in all lightening condition and if you happen to shine a flash light to it, you cab be seen by the space station! lol I prefer the yellow color cause although both colors are somewhat dull, the yellow stand out better against any color background, I have both color sights.
Excellent defensive sights
I love big dot sights. They do what they are supposed to perfectly. Try them out, quick to target and easy to see.
Not Good, Not Great, Just Ok
As someone who has used Trijicon sights for my Glocks over the years, I wanted to give these sights a try, in hopes of finding them to be faster when engaging a target. Although in my opinion they are much faster with sight acquisition versus standard 3 dot style sights, they fall short in some areas. First off the price is currently at the top tier of handgun sights, for what youre getting is pretty good quality, and a design that works. However, the orange Big Dot easily gets washed out in sunlight, and this is coming from someone with 20/10 vision. In the dark these sights work better in my opinion, as the tritium glows well enough for you to use the sights in little to no light. My biggest complaint is the install process. XS Sights, does not recommend the use of a sight pusher tool, but wants you to just slide the rear sight into place, use set screws and Loctite as a method of ensuring the sights wont move. Trijicon uses very tight tolerances, which requires you to use a punch, or a sight pusher tool, which is a better method of installation, rather than relying on thread locker and set screws. All in all these sights work for what I believe they were made for, just realize they arent perfect, even at their price point.
