Frankford Scale good for me
I'm not reloading for sum MOA rifle shooting, I'm reloading range ammo. The tenth of a grain precision is fine with me. I've had no problems with loss of calibration The tare button works repeatably. Mine came with a cheap battery, I replaced it with something better. Because it doesn't see regular duty I have removed the battery after each reloading session. Mine came with a nice little pan and a 50 gram calibration weight. As I am not reloading anywhere near 50 grams of powder I picked up a small set of calibration weights for the range I am working in as check weights. They have always been accurately weighed on my scale. For the price and what it is capable of, it has been reliable for me. There are scales that will weigh down to a hundredth of a grain for those who are interested in shooting sub MOA. For me, this is fine.
compact but great
I am a reloader and decided to get a digital scale to go along with my regular scale. This little unit does a great job. I am very pleased and highly recommend it to anyone.
Quality Powder Scale At 5 Star Price
This battery operated scale reads in grains for measuring pistol and rifle Powder loads and Bullets.. Product specification shows accuracy in .03 GRAMS, For the product quality and price i'll give 5-stars.. I didnt like the Pieces - PCS button for weighing a gross weight then a single unit weight to determine pieces in the gross weight amount. I can count faster than the process you have to do to get a piece COUNT. I'll never use the PCS Feature. you might like the feature, but the scale is small and not many pieces can be put on the weigh plate. Is A Good Scale for working up loads to determine which load works best for the bullet. Hope it never breaks or goes out of calibration, The scale stays on long enough to weigh a load, seat a bullet, then do another WITHOUT the scale turning off.. The manual has very small print that is not easy to read.
DS-750 Scale
5 Stars because it works fine for what it is: a small, compact, battery-powered scale. It comes with a calibration weight. this is handy. the cover is attached so it doesn't get lost. It suits the purpose I bought it for.
Mine drifts upwards, forever upwards!
You can let it settle a bit, and then take a quick measurement after zeroing it, but the scale will begin to climb on its own shortly there after. It will just never stay zeroed! (It never did. I should have returned it, but I was able to make it work for my immediate needs in the short term.)
Zero fluctuates
Very difficult to maintain the scale zero. It changes every 2-3 weighs when weighing every powder drop. There is absolutely no stability. This ales the scale totally unreliable
Junk
I wish I could give it zero stars. It doesnt hold zero and measurements swing wildly if you dont place items in the EXACT same spot. The included calibration weight has never given me an accurate reading, proving that this thing is worthless. If you cant rely on your scale every time, you cant rely on it at all.
