This device was created to give you a realistic dry fire experience while ensuring you will not damage your equipment. It installs through the top of the magwell before placing the upper onto your lower. Very easy to use. A lever on the side (towards the shooter) allows you to reset the trigger without breaking your position. The size and profile are the same as the 20 round magazine used in highpower.

Great Dry Fire Device

This is a little pricey but considering the laser options are $200-$400 this for $70 isn't a bad deal for as much use as you'll get out of it. Well made and slid into my Aero M4E1 with no problems. My Timney 4lb competition trigger made a very audible snap and with a slight push of the button on the bottom of the device and the trigger is instantly reset with hardly having to break position and no longer needing to charge the handle to reset the trigger. I hates having to rack the charging handle everytime to just dry fire once but this device is very slick and takes care if all that. Also comes with some extra bits so it can be used with a couple different laser systems but I didn't try that.

Dry.fire device very useful

I am very pleased with this device. It takes about 30 seconds to install and performs as advertised. The trigger resets at the press of a button on the magazine (which is a dramatic improvement from having to rack the entire bolt assembly back for every shot). I use it 5-15 minutes everyday in focused and simple deliberate drills and it's use has resulted in significant improvement in slow offhand shooting and in rapid target aquistion from a low ready stance.
