These are excellent brushes for scrubbing the bore of my 1911 pistol barrels.
Excellent Brush
Excellent quality. I used two of the brushes to break in barrel of a 223 rifle. One brush for removal of copper and the other for cleaning barrel. Threw away brushes afterwards so not to contaminate copper with the other.

The Double-Tuff brushes are just that!! These will work fine on my 45 cal firearms, both barrel and chamber on the revolvers!!
Great Brushes
These are the best bore brushes I have used. These clean better than any other bronze brush I've used and they completely blow nylon brushes out of the water. They fit the bore tightly which means they get into the rifling to knock out fouling better than looser fitting brushes. The bristles stay put and don't work loose from the brush.
Fouling be gone!
I spent countless hours trying to get the barrel on my M&P 45 clean. I used other bronze brushes, nylon brushes, ultrasonic cleaners, and everything in between and I just couldn't get all of the fouling out of the barrel. After using one of these brushes, I ran a patch through the bore and it came out dirtier than I'd ever seen it. This brush removed stubborn fouling that had built up over time and now the barrel is cleaner than when I bought the gun.
