Love Hornady dies

I have been using Hornady dies for almost 20 years. If I have a problem. I call them & their techs advise me or send warranty parts. Great service , Great products , Great value for your dollar.

Quality and a GREAT price

Outstanding fit and finish and innovative features. Been reloading over 45 years and these are hands down the best deal on a reloading component I've ever gotten. A Match grade quality tool at at an affordable price. As a precision machinist, and toll and die maker I definitely appreciate better made; well you cant go wrong with these.

reloading dies

I am going out on a limb here and leaving a review before I have put any ammo together with them. I have other Hornady reloading dies that have done the job for me and if these don't perform in a like manner, I will have to exchange them for some that will get the job done. All I need now is some brass for 6mm ARC.

Does what it is supposed to

It is very well made, sizes brass to spec and seats bullets at depth for either super or sub sonic. Bottom line is it does exactly what it is supposed to do and that is why I bought it. Brownells had it shipped and delivered in a timely manner which is what I have come to know will happen from them.

Hornady Dies--Best Seating Stem Made

I purchased these for a new rifle but I've been using Hornady dies for over 20 years. Someone showed me the floating seating stem feature and I've been hooked ever since. Not to say other company's dies aren't of good quality, but sometimes the floating stem really saves the day. Consider how small .224 bullets are and how difficult they are to hold squarely on top of the case as the ram is brought up to seat the bullet. This is where the Hornady dies do so well particularly for my aging fingers.

Don't be fooled by the price!

These are the first Hornady dies I've ever used so didn't know what to expect all I can say is that they are sheer quality from start to finish. The excellent box design and well written and informative instruction leaflet all go towards making this a serious consideration for anyone looking for a quality die set. Superb resizing die with spare pin and a really nice feature is the fine adjustment on the decap rod. The seating die is an absolute joy to use and I personally prefer this to my Redding Comp seaters it seems the perfect choice for any older military rifle. I bought these to reload for my SMLE BSA No.1 Mk.III* and would highly recommend them as they certainly punch well above their weight on all counts. Couple that with Sinclair's excellent customer service and you have a winning combination.

Great customer service

After resizing a few hundred cases, the expander button started coming off the stem and sticking in the case neck. It turned out that the button was "hanging" by only a few threads and could not be tightened properly. Sent the stem with button to Hornady who replaced them free, no questions asked. Great customer service.
