Great Product
This copper solvent works very well and quite fast! I have used a lot of copper removers over the years and this one has worked the best for me. I especially like that it doesn’t have strong fumes. The smell is pleasant. I will be ordering this again.

Saw this being used on “ the real gunsmith “ and thought I’d give it a try. Product does a great job of pulling copper out of the barrel. Good stuff !
Bore Tech Cu+ remover
This product works very well. I was surprised at how much of copper came out from the first patch. It took less time to clean out the copper compared to other products. Highly Recommended.
THE BEST FOR COPPER
I agree with the other reviewers; this stuff is great! Like fatheringil, I also have tested this against other copper cleaners. When I used this first, the others showed ZERO blue/green on the patch. When I used each one of the others first, the BORE TECH showed blue/green on the dry patch, indicating that the BORE TECH removed copper fouling that the others left. Each solvent was applied with a cotton patch, using an aluminum jag and a stainless steel rod, and left for ten minutes. Between each solvent,the barrels were neutralized with Birchwood Casey Synthetic-Safe spray on three wet patches, followed by two dry patches. Then the second solvent was applied. Each test was performed after approximately 1,000 rounds of .223. Also, there is no ammonia! Therefore: 1) it doesn't stink 2) it is safe to leave in the barrel overnight or longer. When I get home from a varmint hunt, I patch my barrels with this stuff and just leave them alone while I unpack, go to work, etc. It does all the work so I don't have to!
Good Stuff
I have accumulated a bunch of different copper removers over the years and not being satisfied I recently decided to try this one. Wow, it really works well! No ammonia smell, no worries about etching the bore, no more copper fouling in the bore. Definitely use a non brass jag and nylon brush to apply.
In my well over 1/2 century
I have used countless products over my gunsmith and personal use since 1959; a few I still use for general applications; however this product is the "Cat' Meow" . Clean fast; doesn't harm the barrel, removes the copper; what more can you ask for. The worst rifle that I have recently worked on, filthy is a nice description, first patch it was blackish with a hint of midnight-blue. Within a few hours it came out clean and smooth as a bare babies behind.
Seems to clean what others miss
Best copper remover Ive come across. This will keep coming out blue when other cleaners have stopped.

if you think your bore is clean, run a patch of this stuff down it and be amazed! best cleaning product on the market, and their tech support is supper helpful. good company to boot!
Does the Trick
I use this product after a range session with an aluminium spear jag. That way, no false copper readings as with a bronze jag. Just to see for myself, I used other dedicated copper cleaners first and then the Bore Tech product. A deep aqua blue color on the patch after using the Bore Tech. It was enough proof for me.
Works better than the others
I have used three other dedicated copper cleaners. This is the only one that, when used, and then you use the other products, the patches come out clean when using the others. When the test is reversed and you use the other cleaners first, the patch (aluminum) when using this product comes out a nice, deep blue or aqua.
