Use The Proper Tools
Five stars for now. Only time will tell us the long term. You invest $1500.00 + in a SAA, why use generic tools and parts. The majority of my handgun tinkering involves single action revolvers. Be they Colt, Standard, Ruger, or any of our Italian manufactured Brethren, use of appropriate quality tools tends to reward us with the desired results.

Must have set if you own SAA
Perfect fit for my Cimmaron 1873 and fit tight in my Chapman set

Better Than The Others
I use these on Uberti reproductions and they are great! I have tried much more expensive hollow ground screwdriver sets that just were not stong enough and would bend and break with very little torque applied. These are very strong. Glad I bought two sets although i dont think i will ever need the second set since these are tough. Great value. Perfect fit for the screw heads!

All you need in a tidy package
I bought this set to do some work on my Pietta 1851 Colt replicas. There is a bit in this kit for every screw and it fits perfectly. I tore the gun completely down to do a cartridge conversion and this all in one kit did the trick. The only down side, if you can call it that, is that all the bits won't fit in the handle...one has to stay in shank and the rest in the handle. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Not All That
The bit is the exact width of the grip frame screw head. If some of them weren’t recessed it would be fine. If you don’t always have the steadiest hands along with excellent lighting you can easily scuff the finish. The widest bit doesn’t sit completely flush in any screw I have found on 3 separate Peacemaker clones Uberti and Pietta manufacture. I’m ok with the overall quality of the set, but I doubt I would buy it again.
