Lee Length Gauge/ Shellholder
They are a simple, but accurate trimmer that works. Plus they are affordable.
Easy Way to Trim Cases
I have three more of these Length Gauges for trimming cases that have gotten to long. I find these make easy work of trimming cases I use the Manual Zip Trim power source to do it and it works wonderful without spending a lot of money to do it. They are always trimmed perfectly as the Arbor only lets the cutter go to trim to length. I have the Universal 3 jaw chuck on mine so I do not have to change the chuck every time I trim a different caliber case. Are there better case trimmers out there ?, probably, but for the money and simplicity I don't think so.
Way Easier and Time Tested
Lee's advantage. As you need one specific gauge and shell holder per type case you never have to adjust diddly. I've shot the same cases dozens of times and have never resized most! Clean, inspect/measure, trim(if needed,)de-burr/chamfer, size n' prime, reload, One last thing about LEE? Your not spending $70 a pop on a case trimmer that you use once a year. Sure you have a trimmer to get all squishy about and use for just the one .308, I have an RCBS Case Trimmer 2 from back in the day. Do you want to load ammo or do a study on Statistical Dimensioning? Lee does everything simpler.
Perfect
This product is a great choice for quick and precise Cutting tool to check and adjust your casings
Precise and reliable
I use these in .223 and .308. I started with the .223 while loading for my AR's. I've trimmed thousands of .223 cases and it's just still the exact same measurement as the first case and the attached cutter seems as sharp as ever. I normally chuck the shell holder in a portable drill and process a bunch of brass at a time.
Works great

I've trimmed thousands of .223 cases and it's just still the exact same measurement as the first case and the attached cutter seems as sharp as ever. I normally chuck the shell holder in a portable drill and process a bunch of brass at a time. I'm loading .308 for a precision bolt action, and I've been able to produce extremely accurate ammunition. You would of course have more flexibility with an adjustable trimmer, but for this particular rifle the set length available here is fine. Consistency is the key and every piece of brass comes out the exact same length with this tool.
Case length guages
I bought 2 of the guages and very disappointed, the plunger bent while trying to decap some 308 cases bent on the second casing, now I have 3 broken decapers what's the next step.
Do not buy
The first one I bought the threads were messed up, set it back ,got a new one and they put the wrong sell holder in the package. will not buy another lee product.
