I would still recommend this product I think it's top notch, the product photos are somewhat misleading because one would think you're getting both items even though you're just getting the cage just wanted to make sure that's clear. so if you already have a muscle device like the VG6 then you're good to go this is a cage that slides over that muzzle device which works like diffuser or blast cans.

Purchased for use with my Epsilon 556 - item fits and performs as described. Helps cut down the massive concussion blast to the left & right of shooter - creates more of a circular concussion once installed. Recoil increases slightly but is still easy to stay on target while 2 or 3 tapping the trigger. There is a small shim that installs on top of the brake that the Cage slides over and tightens down onto. I've had the Cage on & off a few times which is quick with the 2 set screws. I last installed this after cleaning my gun - the Cage set screws were good & tight - discovered the device was loose and shim was missing after my last range outing. I contacted VG6 and they will send another shim my way at no cost. Great service, and a heads-up to others to check the device occasionally when in use. put the key wrench in your grip or range bag so you can ensure it stays tight! Enjoy - Great item!

If you have / own a VG6 Epsilon or Gamma muzzle brake you will want to try one of these Cage devices. I ordered another set (Epsilon & Cage device) over the Memorial Day weekend. I now own 4. The Epsilon & Gamma brake work better than any other brakes I have used. The cage device makes the brake work even better my dispersing / breaking up the side gases and controlling the muzzle rise. I can watch each shot thru my scope hit the target without any muzzle rise. I recommend.
