Bushing/Compensator Fitting Mandrel
This tool is a godsend for 1911 barrel bushings. It allows you to perform accurate fitting of the bushing to the slide. Great value.

Used in my Logan lathe to fit a Kart bushing to a Springfield slide. Worked great!
Recommended to fit match grade bushing
I followed the directions and worked slowly. Made fitting the match bushing to the frame much easier. I used this product with the "B" Reamer to to fit the bushing to the barrel. Together they made fitting a 1911 match grade bushing much easier.
Excellent, well made product
This product in instrumnetal in fitting barrel bushings, and compensators on 1911 pistols. It is so easy to just screw your bushihg in between the little cones, chuck the thing up in the lathe and youre good to go. Awesome product that makes life a little easier. Came with standard Brownells Directions but were a little strange for this one with very little information about how to use this particular product. It was a sheet made for many products with a small section about this one.
Needed cleanup
This tool needed the threads chased and burrs removed. The threads were dented, and needed a die to be run over them. The slotted end had sharp edges after the slot was milled, and had to be cleaned up with a needle file. Other than that, it worked perfectly to turn a government bushing.
