BROWNING BUCK MARK PICATINNY SCOPE MOUNT

BROWNING BUCK MARK PICATINNY SCOPE MOUNT Reviews & Ratings

Lightweight, aluminum Picatinny rail replaces factory rib/rear sight and lets you mount an optic while retaining the benefit of backup “iron” sights. Eight cross-slots let you position the optic for best eye relief. Integral open rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation. Drilled to fit the factory hole spacing and use the original factory rib/rear sight screws.

SPECS: 6061 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Approximately 5" (12.7cm) long, 13?16" (21mm) wide, 15?32" (12mm) high from top of receiver.

Buck mark 22 cal rail
I didnt have any problem mounting the rail to my firearm. I mounted a Browning red dot site on it with no problem. Both the rail and red dot work as they should.

great rail, but no fiber optic options
I ordered this rail with the intention of adding a pistol scope. For that purpose, it is superb. Great build quality, solid. The built-in rear sight is nice... but that was a problem for me. I wanted to install Williams Fire Sights (Front and Rear) on my Buckmark. The Williams Rear sights will not fit on the TacSol rail. TacSol uses it's own rear sight setup that is not compatible with the original sight. So, my original goal of scoping the Buckmark is accomplished by this rail, but my secondary goal of having fiber optic backup sights was not accomplished. As far as I can tell as of this writing (1/30/13), there are no options for a fiber optic rear sight that will fit on the TacSol rail. Apparently, someone has successfully modified a cheap SunOptics BM rail to accept the Williams rear fiber optic sight. That rail goes for $12, so I may return the TacSol rail and go with the SunOptics rail. Also, I noticed that my rings tend to slide to and fro with the TacSol rail. The rings are tightened very well such that they don't slide side to side, but they do move a tad to and fro. I don't know if that is an issue with the TacSol rail or with my rings. I'm guessing the rings, becuase they were cheap rings. I like the rail a lot, but the proprietary rear sight is a real loser for me (not that it doesn't work, but just because fiber optics are not an option).

Rail for BuckMark
Rail fit quite well .... rear sight quality is inferior..! Not even close to original sight...can not interchange either....attempted to sight-in before installing red dot on the rail....rather frustrated with the sight...hoping red dot never fails...! At the price paid I am disappointed with this product...!

Tactical Solutions Rail Buckmark URX
The rail I purchased did not fit properly on my Browning Buck Mark. The holes did not line up accurately. I had to widen then a little which made me drop the stars. Im not sure if QC of TacSol really looked at their product before having other vendors sale their items.

Doesn't fit the Hunter model.
I have the Hunter version of the Buckmark. After I installed the rail, I could not chamber a round. The bolt would stop around inch short of going into battery. The rail was easy to install. However, it doesnt seem to work out on the Hunter model. For that reason I rated it as two stars.
