Mags don't fit
Magazines don't fit whether it be a PMAG or a USGI mag, after filing and fitting the mag well the mags now won't release. The Bottom is line to avoid these since you can't return them also I'd like to thank Brownells for having me waste my money on multiple FFL transfers just for some neat paperweights.

3 out of 4 lowers horribly out of spec
I purchased 2 of these lowers and once I got them I realized magazines would not fit in the magwells (this is a problem) I then got a replacement pair sent by Brownells after a very long time trying to get an email response. The 2 they sent as replacements were supposedly examined by a gun tech prior to shipment to ensure they were in spec and functional. Of the 2, only one of them allows mags to be inserted and removed without forcing them. I tried a large variety of magazines including brownells brand usgi style magazines and magpul pmags. Don't waste your time and money on this.

Get something else.
I'm building a project for myself on this lower. I was attracted to this because its a 70 dollar lower. ISSUES: Brownells did not, DID NOT, mark who this lower was supposed to go to so my FFL nearly put it on sale because it wasn't marked. Thanks for that shipping department. The next issue is that the magwell is out of spec. I ended up taking a old Soviet metal file to the magwell to fit USGI magazines and PMAGS. I'm going to end up replacing it with a Aero Lower on this project once I get a chance.

Bad machining
You probably read other reviews saying the magwell is too tight for gi or metal mags. You probably also be like How bad could that be? and decided to try one. I did so and I regret it big time: GI mags fit tightly not only because the magwell is narrow, but also because the whole port or magwell opening is not machined parallel to the sides of receiver! I bought two of these and they both got that inclined mag well. Might be issues on the machine setups or whatever. I suggest until this issue is addressed by brownells just dont buy these lowers.
