Great Choice.

I put this on my Mod.10 308 in about 2 minutes. Made the bolt lift/ cocking feel so much easier, and helps bumping into the scope with my fingers. The finish is a dull grey-black that matches the finish of the gun exactly. I plan on getting another for my Mod.110 30-06 with my next order from Brownells.

Would put this on future rifles.

I bought this bolt to go on my semi custom rifle that started life out as one of the cheap package guns. After getting it Duracoated matte black the glossy bolt did not look right so I went with the oversized bolt. It matches the matte black duracoat perfectly and sorta ads a look that you see on custom hunting rifles or tactical rifles. It also makes cycleing the action alot easier. The orginal bolt was hard to remove overly tight. But it was a easy install after fighting the original bolt screw loose. I highly endorse this product.

I bought this bolt 2 weeks ago for my 11 FCNS and love it! you cant beat it for the price, the length and the size enables you to cycle the bolt easier.Big diff. compared to factory one if you have a scope with big turrents. all in all good buy!

Better than the original

Drop in fit. Gives you some extra lenght and a bigger contact area. Great buy at this price compared to other after-market offering.

TOUGH BIG HANDLE

I HAVE BIG HANDS SO I REPLACED THE STOCK BOLT HANDLE ON MY SHORT ACTION MODEL 200 STEVENS WITH THIS OVERSIZED BOLT HANDLE.INSTALLATION WAS DROP IN AND IT'S A BIG IMPROVEMENT AND SERVES IT'S PURPOSE GREAT.THE FINISH IS PLAIN BUT THE PART IS TOUGH AS A TANK.FOR ONLY 24 DOLLARS IT'S A STEAL.I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE FINISH BECAUSE I'M ABOUT TO DURACOAT THE METAL IN HK DARK.THIS IS A GREAT REPLACEMENT BOLT HANDLE IF YOU HAVE A STEVENS 200!

Nice

Designed for a round top receiver. Works with a flat top, just doesn't look 100%. Functions much better than the original small handle.

Good inexpensive upgrade

Installed on "Savage Model 111 FCXP3" which I previously restock with a "Choate Ultimate Varmint Stock", this bolt handle works far better then the stock bolt handle on the wider Choate stock. The action seems to operate smoother after the install. The only negative about this bolt handle is its finish, which has a parkerized appearance, this is not necessarily bad (as it adds to a custom tactical appearance), but it does not 100% match the stock finish.
