Perfect replacement for original
I bought this Ruger complete bolt for my 10-22 basically as a spare, but decided to install it, and keep the original as a spare. It looked perfect and installed easily. It has worked flawlessly in the rifle having fired approximately 200 rounds through the gun.

Great Product
This product arrived in a timely manner. Just a few days to receive it. It fits perfect, as stated. I have built a few 10/22's for hunting and practice. In all of these builds I have used the standard bolt and they have worked just fine. I have shot silhouette and NRL, mostly for fun; I am not a serious contender type of person. I joined this bolt up with a Brownell's receiver and a Tandem Kross charging handle and it fit just fine. Functions well. No complaints at all and would highly recommend.

good factory bolt
The factory bolt is just what i need to get an old 10/22 back into working order. May make this into a project rifle to build out into something more modern.

A good replacement bolt
Unfortunately they are scuffed on the side where it says Ruger, Brownells tells me thats how they get them. When installed it is not to bad to look at. The first thing I do when i get them in stock is perform a function test on the extractor some times slight burs in the slot or on the extractor. have sold alot of them and no complaints from customers

Rebuilt?
Another reviewer commented that his bolt appeared used, so did mine. There are clearly wear marks on the sides of the bolt and I don't know what else to attribute the dirt to. With all that said I purchased the bolt assy to get my 43 year old 10/22 sporter back in operation and I just came back from the range, it works beautifully so it was $22 well spent. If it is a rebuilt it should say so.

Not pretty but they function perfectly
These investment cast bolts are much harder than machined "bar stock" bolts are. They are designed to take a beating and keep on working. I have used dozens of these factory bolts since they were introduced with ZERO failures to function. I am a gunsmith with 50+ years building customized 10/22s and with very little work (surface finishing) these bolts will outlast the rifle. They might not look pretty on the outside but the important internal dimensions (pockets) are far more accurate than any machined bolt can have. Remember, these are "investment cast" bolts using a very hard proprietary alloy steel.
