Brownells Blank Slides for Glock® pistols come with the exterior left smooth and featureless so you can customize it exactly the way you want it. Add cocking serrations, an optic mounting slot, and cosmetic flourishes to make it entirely your own. (Yes, you will need to bring some machining skills to the table!) Inside, the dimensions fully machined to factory dimensions, so your Brownells Blank Slide for Glock®comes ready to fit a factory-spec frame and accept Gen 3 factory and aftermarket barrels and parts.

Have bought and used two of these. Great item. Easy to install. And if you can't mill the serrations, just use skate board tape till you can.

The Blank Slide for Gen3 Glock 17 by BROWNELLS is beautifully designed and built. It's excellent for a basic Glock build.

Beautiful and well-machined slide

This slide is, as far as I can tell, perfectly machined and extremely smooth. I used this for a recent P80CL build with a stainless, threaded SilencerCo barrel, and a Glockstore steel recoil rod and spring. The fit is surprisingly perfect, with absolutely zero loose rattles, and it doesnt grind or wear any of the locking surfaces on the barrel. Im choosing to keep mine stainless, as it really is beautiful, but this would be a great platform for Cerakote or hardcoat. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality and customizable G17 slide.

Fantastic slide and great value.

Impeccable machining, fit and finish. All stock and most quality aftermarket parts will fit and function properly. A fantastic economical option if you are planning on having custom aesthetic machining work done on your Glock without carving up your stock slide. Do not forget that it will need a firing pin channel liner as it seems one reviewer of the G19 variant did and then posted a poor review. You will not be disappointed!
