AR-9 ENDOMAGS 9MM CONVERSION KIT

AR-9 ENDOMAGS 9MM CONVERSION KIT Reviews & Ratings

Several companies have developed 9mm conversion systems designed for use in standard AR-15 lowers and uppers. However, feeding a 9mm magazine through a standard AR-15 magazine well presents some issues. Typically, this has been solved by the use of magwell inserts, but Mean Arms tackled the issue with a different take: why not change the magazine itself? The Mean Arms AR-9 Endomag Conversion Kit takes any standard Gen 2 or Gen 3 Magpul PMAG and allows it to be converted to feed 9mm rounds. The conversion is built for use with Glock®or Colt 9mm bolt-carrier groups. The kit comes ready to convert 10-round magazines, but it can be modified to fit 20- or 30-round magazines. No magwell adapter is needed for use with the Mean Arms AR-9 Endomag Conversion Kit, and the company ensures reliable performance with all brands of 9mm ammo.

Mean Endomag
I haven't used the Endomags yet.

Awesome Magazine Conversion
Endomags are the best choice to feed your AR-9! They are reliable and fit perfectly into PMAGs. Although I use them for 30-round configuration, I only load them to 25 rounds as they sometimes won't feed properly (at least in MY AR-9).

Great product still needs work.
This is the best product I could find out there for using a standard 15 lower with a 9 upper. Needed an ejector. The Unser clicks in and is solid. The ejector sits on top and is a little flimsy feeling. I super glued it to the mag and it is strong now. I wonder how lone plastic will hold up to being an ejector but I guess we will see.

AR9 conversion mag
I purchased the 3 pack and so far ran about 600 rounds total. Not one malfunction. I just ordered some pmags in coyote tan and will dedicate that color for 9mm only. This way I will know which are for what. So far so good, there great.

right on target
Just wanted to try this out before I paid much more for a different adapter for 9mm. After converting the pmag in was very disappointed, this thing just didn't work. Then I tried a new bcg from spinta precision BOOM every round down range. The only difference that I see is that the bcg has a larger steel weight than the first one I tried Endomag is much more affordable and with the correct components wow!

Flawless
Flawless function with 115, 124,and 147gn ammo. First range trip today. About 200 rounds perfect feeding and ejecting. Anderson lower, Fm upper and bcg. Don't know how long the plastic ejectors will hold up, but for now I don't even care because they run so good. And the lrbho is a big plus as well. Ordering more

Perfect match for AR9
Easy conversion for AR 9 to the Gen 3 pmag, eliminating the need for a mag well insert, especially for a quick change to other caliber lowers, minimal break in. Highly recommend these for the builder on a budget that wants multiple uses of one mag, able to switch from 9mm to 5.56 in seconds

Love it!
Extremely easy to install. Works perfectly in a PSA lower. Am definitely buying more!

Great for my set up
I have 4 of these inserts and all my mags are Magpul PMAG GEN M2 MOE Window AR-15 .223/5.56 30-Round Magazine. My upper is a FM9 7" upper and I have a Anderson lower. I've cycled about 700 rounds through these mags and the only issue I had was I purchased the wrong insert early on. You can see in the picture that I had insert #2 from cmmg which ONLY works with their uppers because the ejector is built in. Not the case for FM. I thought the plastic ejector would be an issue for me as well but it has held up pretty well. I also cycle mine regularly and give each of them equal range time. I think I'll buy three more and have enough mags for a good time without reloading so often. I love this setup!

Works Great
Purchased this 3 pack before and I am very happy with them so I got another 3 pack.. Shot about 500 rds through each with no malfunctions, just follow the break in instruction. It would be nice if someone makes a loader for them.
