works great
easy add on, it felt like it took almost all of the recoil out of my AR, it made it very quiet as well, it seemed like it turned my 5.56 into a .22, if your thinking about buying one just do it you wont regret it
Great product
I had an A2 bird cage on my 7 1/2" AR pistol, which was loud and disrupted the airspace in the shooting stall at my favorite range. I installed a Claymore brake and the noise and blast are no long in my stall, making my pistol behave like my 16" carbine. There is a little more climb over the A2, but the reduction in sound, and focusing of the blast, more than makes up for it.
Excellent CQB muzzle brake
This brake is excellent all the noise and blast go straight foward not at the people next to you, and it's much much lighter than the Noveske flaming pig. I'm not sure about the flash suppression capabilities I haven't tested it yet but it is a brake not a flash suppressor. The only down side I can see is cleaning all the little holes in front.
Love these
These are my second favorite MDs for a rifle, first would be the Troy Medieval FH. These work great, directs the flash out in a single point and the sound away from you as well. Makes a nice breacher too. I love the spikey stuff best so this one does make me happy.
Good For Short Barrels CQB
I used this on an AR Pistol to contain muzzle blast and recoil. It directs blast outward and away from the front of the weapon and from other shooters and away from lasers, optics, etc. It is loud and does not hide the flame or flash, but it directs it forward from the shooter. A good design except for the dumb kiddie breacher sharp points on the end that cut your case and snag on your clothes under the arm. Breachers are a dumb fad going around for Kiddie Shooters! As if I would want to Breech a door with an expensive weapon! LOL!LOL! Great after I cut the points off in a lathe! Wish it was offered smooth like the DPMS Levang muzzle break.
