Forged aluminum flattop receiver includes fully-assembled forward assist and ejection port cover and accepts barrels with M4 barrel extensions. All final dimensions machined to correct mil-spec tolerances to readily accept standard AR-15 parts to help you complete an upper receiver. Laser-etched T-marks on Picatinny rail enable easy removal and re-mounting of optics, sights, and other accessories in the correct position. Interior has dry film lubrication to help reduce wear. Inside Diameter for barrel extension slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel and a more accurate rifle. Please use a hair dryer to warm up threaded bore of receiver if barrel extension is too tight.

SPECS: 7075 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. .250" (6.3mm) pivot/takedown pin holes.

Solid upper, high quality

What makes this upper so good: 1) Thermal fit - use a heat gun (not a torch), takes about 2 minutes to warm it up enough to slip the barrel in. Super easy, rock solid 2) Dry film lubricated inside as milspec uppers should be 3) T marks on the reciever 4) Forward assist is pinned as milspec uppers should be. Pressed on forward assists are unfortunately too common. 5) Machine work and finish is excellent Overall a high quality upper for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Best forged upper available

Barrel fits tight like it's supposed too, finish is perfect, dry lube coated on the inside (most aren't). They don't get any better than this, only cheaper, or more expensive. I've stopped buying anything else but BCM uppers and factory build lowers.

Good product

This complete upper was used for a pistol build. Easy to work with.

Barrel will not seat.

Attempted to install Bravo Company barrel in the Bravo Company upper receiver and the barrel will not seat, as another review had stated. Barrel fits fine in other upper receivers.
