AR-15 9" Omega Rail M-Lok Black
light weight, solid lockup and easy install. no complaints.

Excellent upgrade for your rifle
I'm impressed with this handguard so far. Easy install. Hasn't moved. Made in America. Accuracy has improved with the free float. The handguards have anti rotation tabs machined in that straddle the upper receiver just in case. The forend doesn't weigh a whole lot. Surprising that the instructions say to cut off the delta ring. I would think Brownells would use this as an opportunity to sell a couple extra AR15 tools like an inexpensive armorer's tool, vise, and a spanner wrench or a couple punches. You know, things we should all have anyway and allow you to save the parts.

Excellent value
Easy to install and works. But why cut your delta ring? Do it right and remove the bbl. It's not hard, you'll have spare parts and won't risk scratching your upper.

Solid
I've had this on my BCM mid length for over 5 years. I've even removed it and reinstalled it a couple times and it's been rock solid the whole time. The rail ends about 1 mm short of the handguard end cap (if you have a2 sight post installed), which is perfect. This is the best drop in, free float quad rail I've used.

Great Product
Great product at a great product. Install was a snap, and it feels rock solid on my Adams Arms upper!!

Top quality floater
I put this on my old A1 upper Bushy which has a soldered long flash hider on an 11.5" barrel. This MI model doesn't have the monolithic rail extension so it fit perfectly flush against the A1 upper. This floater has excellent fit and finish with the added benefit of two built-in quick detach holes on each rail side. Cutting the delta ring off with a Dremel tool and using tin snips to remove all the other stock AR handguard retainer parts was a breeze. Wrap your upper with some kind of protection in case the Dremel cutter slips. This would probably install just fine without knocking the pins out of the front sight to insure clearance. Also, consider leaving the handguard cap on. I cut mine off to start with, but the stock handguard cap might work well with this product.

All around great rail kit!
Works perfectly with my Adams Arms piston kit, easy to instal, great substitute for an Omega rail, much easier on the pocket and roughly the same weight. Check out MI's extra rail sections for even more space, great stand in for a 45 degree cant mount for an Aimpoint Micro or the like, perfect for where every little oz counts!

Perfect is good enough!
Beautifully made. Perfectly finished. Great price compared to other free-float forends. No negatives. Be aware that you will need to cut off your delta ring, remove the spring and retainer. A Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel works best for this. Just take your time and you will be rewarded!
