The Geissele® Super Gas Block is a low profile gas block, designed to fit under most free floating handguards. Precision investment cast from 17-4 precipitation hardening stainless steel, the gas block provides corrosion resistance and strength to withstand thousands of rounds and never let you down. The included instructions cover the standard set screw installation method, as well as Geissele's® own "Bombproof Installation".

The bombproof installation uses an included coil pin to lock the gas block in place on the barrel so that it will never slide or twist under any operating conditions. Additionally the Super Gas Block comes with a SS dowel pin that can be used to effortlessly line up the SGB to Geissele® CHF barrels to ensure a perfect alignment with the gas port.

Low pro gas block

This block did not fit my Red x heavy barrel.my barrel requires a clamp style gas block.opps,got a surprise when I went to install.

Solid quality, amazing company

I first got into ARs back in 2017. I have learned that Geissele is a brand of exceptional quality and you truly do get what you pay for. Theres no reason to skimp on any purchase when it comes to firearms and parts. Ive tested so many and brand means a lot more in this industry than any other.

Typical great Geissele product.

I have used several different top brands of LoPro gas blocks, both for 5.56 and 7.62 ARs. I have always drilled dimples for barrels that didn't include it, and always use thread-locker on the set screws. But the Geissele SGB adds a whole new level of security to the LoPro gas block. Once I had my drill press set up for this procedure, using a drill press vice. Some barrels are much harder than others, so don't skimp on the drill bit quality, and go slow, use coolant.
