Top notch quality like all DD products
Locks up tight, great construction and amazing finish

Solid, Dependable Unit
It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Rock solid and the quick release works nicely. The "45 degrees of rotation" in the product description here is an exagerration. It hardly rotates at all but you can set it at 90 degree angles and that's all I need.

ANOTHER FINE DANIEL DEFENSE PRODUCT
I needed one of these for a Daniel Defense rail I installed. Great piece of gear and very well built. Mine came with a 1.25" wide loop unlike the other reviewer but that's what I wanted. The loops are a very sturdy 3/16" thick. The button while easy to use, I would doubt it would release accidentally unless you actually pushed firmly on it. This product does include the Daniel Defense mount for the swivel and that also is well built like all their products. I looked around for replacement swivels only, which would match this swivel and found it at Brownells, (100-003-224.) That "swivel only" unit is made by Midwest Industries and is their heavy duty version. Based on my caliper measurements, it's identical to the Daniel Defense swivel but is more of a matte blue finish instead of parkerized. Both parts I would recommend to others and buy again for myself.

Great product!
I have to say this is one design that works well for one point and two point slings. The stop points for horizontal and vertical keep tangle problems to a minimum.
5
Great way to attach a sling
I use this to mount a two point sling on my M4 carbine. I like the way it prevents rotation so the sling does not get tangled up. The base locks up tight and stays put.
5
built tough
This sling swivel is built for extreme duty. I like how it locks in position so your sling don't get tangled up.
5
Great QD sling mount!
I'm running one of these and really like it. It is very low profile so when a sling is not mounted, it is not protruding. As mentioned earlier the non-rotational feature is nice as well.

Great Product.
The Daniel Defense Q/D swivel rail mounts differ from other brands in that they are made with a rotation limiter to prevent your sling from becoming tangled. Therefore, these are the ones to get.

Pretty good, wish it had a 1 1/4" swivel
The QD is great. The rotation limiting feature is really nice, and makes it behave more like a regular sling swivel. Only negative for me was that included swivel is for 1" slings, not 1.25"

Hot garbage, DO NOT BUY!
I had this thing pop off the rail while running down range on a three gun stage and my sling dragging behind me. It doesn't have enough purchase on a Picatinny rail to be used for a sling mount. Very poor design without enough metal to grip the rail, don't waste your money.
