Excellent Firing Pin
The NibX version looked better than some highly regarded names in the industry who'll I leave unamed. No need to appear to throw shade because the other pins were just fine but this one stood out.
Right size firing pin.
I had trouble with my AR firing after building it from a kit bought elsewhere. After reviewing the the description of the firing pin, I realized the original firing pin was slightly shorter. The new pin solved my problem.
NiB-X firing pin
I purchased this as a replacement for my factory firing pin. Slick coating allows you to easily wipe it clean after heavy use. After getting to see this coating in action, I know I will be purchasing a WMD NiB-X bolt carrier group and hammer in the future.
NIB-X Not only slick but pretty!!
Slick! In more ways than one! I run Nickel Boron BCG in a couple of builds and that gets pricey! Decided to try just using the NIB X firing pin and bolt cam, both from Brownells!, to experiment. Nickel Boron is naturally slick but I run a light coating of Oil, probably just out of habit! and believe it or not I could tell a big difference in the feel of smoothness just cycling the bolt. I went with the NIB X firing pin to avoid removal for cleaning and lubricating. Have put a couple hundred down range and absolutely no issues! Dirtied up the pretty a little bit, but that was more ammo! Wiped clean and ready to go again!
