Well it's a handguard alright. If your on the fence about it. It makes attaching a light mount and foregrip easier. I've tried the tailer park version on the original handguard...I mean it works but this handguard makes mounting stuff stay mounted. Overall 10/10, will buy again for my FDE a4 build soon.

Magpul Rifle Length M-Lok Handguard
I really like the look and feel of this handguard. It is much more functional than the standard AR15A4 handguard. The ergonomical fit makes it easier to hold onto and the M-Lok provisions make it readily adaptable to mount a vertical grip, bipod, light, etc. It is an excellent choice for customizing a AR15A4 to fit your individual need or taste. Color choices are very good as well.
Brownells service and communication all throughout the purchase and shipment process, in my opinion, was excellent and above par. They almost always have what you need in stock and their pricing is fair. My thanks to Brownells for their great customer service.

Quick and easy...
Love it for being light, easy to install and remove, it's shape (compared to the military spec oval), and plus I can mount a few small rails to it if I want. No edges, nothing to snag, and feels just like the one on my carbine upper, so it's familiar. Love it.

Arrived early. Typical Magpul quality which is to say outstanding. Solid construction. Easy to mount -I didn't need any tools. Mounted mine to a Delton 20in A2 flat top upper with a govt profile barrel no problem. No wobble and was able to accept a MVG foregrip. Nothing bad to say. It's a great product.

I always liked the handguards on the M16 better than the A2. While not being triangular these handguards add a flat hold space on the bottom of the handguard. I use this handguard on all of my rifles except for my free floating ones.
Fits a Bushmaster rifle perfectly.
I have a Bushmaster AR Rifle. It is a flat top so the EOTech 552, 3x Multiplier, Magpul MBIS were easy upgrades, but the MS3 Gen 2 sling and the light attachments were not easy. I tried several options using rails attached to front sight post but they were clunky looking and shifted weight of the rifle too far forward. When I decided to go to the EOTech LBC, I had to go to a new handguard to clean off the front sight post, so the laser could shine past it on right side. I ended up with the Magpul M-LOK Handguard, which is inexpensive, and returned the weight back toward center of rifle. The Magpul M-LOK Handguard is well made, easy to install, and restored clean lines to the rifle.
Fit and finish great
Very nice fit and finish, tight fit means no rattling or clacking from movement. Cleared a low-profile gas block perfectly on my dissipator build. Does have enough space up front to clear a receiver height railed gas block as well, in spite of some others stating the opposite. Dual pattern for round/triangle handguard caps is very nice, and does work. Gray color is a nice contrast to the standard black and the receiver finish, bit lighter than it looks in the pictures.
