Just what I needed
I have an Armasight Apollo Pro Clip-On thermal sight that I mounted a 3x magnifier behind so I could use it to scan with while not mounted on my rifle. My 3x magnifier was not lined up and I wanted to center it with the thermal scope so I bought this riser. The riser fit easy enough on my extended picatinny rail but when I tried to remount my Eotech 3x magnifier I found, as other have noted, that the top part of the rail is a hair too wide and the Eotech can not be installed on this rail riser. Luckily, I have Vortex 3x magnifier with a different mount and was able to install it instead of the Eotech. I am not sure why it is too wide for the Eotech but it is. Since the Vortex mounts to it, I am all set and don't need to get anything else. The riser puts my Vortex 3x magnifier "dead center" with the thermal Clip-On. Added a couple of pictures to show how it is mounted.
