A MUST HAVE FOR COMPETITION SHOOTING
Is hard to believe that all competition shooters don't use these. This large magwell makes speed loading your AR a snap whether you're running, upright or prone. I have them on every AR that I own.
works for Daewoo DR200 too*
I bought this with my Daewoo in mind, a test fit on the ar15 was perfect - no filing necessary. i always thought the daewoo magwell looked a little shallow & weak, well after some dremmel work (took about 3 minutes) it fit perfect. Gives you a much better hold if you prefer to grip the gun via magwell too. This does NOT interfere with mag changes on the Daewoo. I will be ordering a second one to try it out on a M17s project next.
It really really works
Always thought it was a race gun thingy not for a fighting gun. Bought it and installed it, like throwing a hot dog down a hallway. One of the true transitional pieces from the playing to the real world uses. Not a gimick, works so well it makes up for the ugliness.
Flared Magwell/ grip.
I purchased this product for my 8.5" barreled AR Pistol to use as a magazine well grip. The beveled magazine insertion is Excellent allowing for smooth mag changes by feel alone. Very important in a stressful situation. The grip surface is useful for a short barrel pistol type AR as well.
Does its job
Makes mag changes lightning fast and Effortless even under stress. Only bad things I found is how unattractive it is installed and I had to modify it to work with gen4 40 rd pmags as I didn't receive the latest version of magwell. Even with that said was easy to mod for 40 rd mags. Magwell was also easy to install.
It's alright
It does not fit tight on my bushmaster and for some reason it won't work with 42 round mags
Fit Problem with P Mag G3 - 20 round mags
None of my P Mag Gen 3 - 20 round magazines will fit properly. This mag well is also much larger than I expected when I received it. I am returning it to Brownell's today for a refund.
Not For Me
Not compatible with Bushmaster/Tangodown Mags & extremely overpriced for a small piece of plastic
