AR-15/M16 FOLDING VERTICAL FOREND GRIP

AR-15/M16 FOLDING VERTICAL FOREND GRIP Reviews & Ratings

Fold-away vertical grip clamps to any forend with a bottom accessory rail and provides a comfortable platform for the support hand to improve control. Makes weapon easier to point to help you get on target—or change targets—fast. Pronounced finger grooves, textured surface, and a hand-filling shape help you maintain steady downward force to counteract muzzle rise during rapid fire. Hit the pushbutton on the left side of the grip to change between five locking positions: vertical, 45° forward/rearward, or folded forward/backward parallel with the handguard for storage or carry. Constructed of lightweight, yet robust, fiberglass-reinforced molded nylon to stand up to hard use; slides over Picatinny forend rail and locks in place with a steel crossbolt for solid, wobble-free installation.

SPECS: Fiberglass-reinforced, injection-molded nylon, black. 4ѕ” (12.1cm) long fully extended. Requires 21?8” (5.4cm) rail space. 4.4 oz. (125g) weight.

Excellent Grip For Any Application.
I have this mounted on a Mossberg 500 Mariner along with an ATI top folding stock. Installation is a simple 5 min process. It's a nice fat grip with finger grooves as you can see that is tough as nails, has 5 positions and compliments the stock in a way that that lets you store what in essence is a full size gun in a small space. I've tried other longer grips that were too skinny and flimsy and this one is a good solid grip that whit the finger groves is a solid comfortable grip that can't be beat. I would recommend to anyone who needs a forend grip that can put up with 12 ga. use and not get sloppy over time. If it does this for a riot gun it will definitely stand up to any other. I give it an A+!

Poor Tolerances
Too much wiggle on this one. Pass on it.

This sucks
This grip is wabble and loose. I tried tighten it but then it would not lock in to place at the 45 degree angles. It is also too wide and akward, just doesn't feel right. Its hallow so why not a plug on the end for storage? If i still had the package I would return it.

Don't Bother
This is just another wiggly folding grip, and the cross bolt is tinney-tinney to the extent that it does not properly engage the rail slot. For $25 and being a product from Brownells I expected more - foolish me.
