Good extension kit
Good Carbine Extension kit, solid. WRT to "Dragon's" typo comment, that's wrong as can be. I'm a Crane trained armorer...Carbine extension round nut Torque value is 40inlbs +/- 2inlb. Rifle extensions get 39 ftlbs. Use MolyDi grease on both. Don't listen to so-called AR15forum experts. They lead you down the path of destruction everytime. Get a 23&P and you'll be good
Nice kit
Good kit for the money. One typo in instructions that say to torque locking nut to 40 in/lbs when it should be more like 40 ft/lbs
Good setup
Works great on my Aero M4E1 reciever and Magpul SL-S buttstock. Snug fit and good quality. Cant go wrong
Easy to assemble
I bought the commercial carbine kit. This product is so easy to use, I was up and running in no time. I really like this product. And with Brownell's life time warranty, how could you go wrong. You won't be disappointed.
Mil-Spec Adjustable Carbine Stock Kit
Fit perfect. Not a single problem. My Magpul ACS and an older Vltor adjustable stock fit upon it and both are nice and tight. In the future I will order this again.

Was on "backorder", but shipped kit same day, Brownells is on point! Just received/installed new carbine tube, fit/finish is perfect. However, one thing i noticed that my existing tube doesn't have is a small maybe, 3/32" hole dead center in the end. I'm not sure of the purpose of this, but you'd think that it could let contamination of sorts in, so i was a bit befuddled. On the other hand, everything else was identical what i already had (- tube length, 6 position slots, slant back), but hey, now i have an excuse to build another AR ;) A+++
Great Completion Kit
This kit was better than expected; the receiver extension is of high quality manufacturing (Vltor). Mil-spec stock has NO rattle at all, also numbered positions are great for quick glance adjustment, no more counting clicks to get comfortable length. Metal coating is very scratch resistant. Over all great for a new build CAR-15 or upgrade of commercial stocked lower.

High quality parts, finish looks good and the price was right. It makes a little noise but Im not terribly concerned about that.
Good, but not as advertised
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to. In the question section they say the buffer tube is a Vltor and that it is a 5 position but it is actually a Brownells tube 080-001-046 and is a 6 position. The tube is good quality though, the only thing is there is some machining marks on the inside, other than that it seems to be built well. Everything else in the kit is good to go. If I would have know all this before buying I might have gone a different route. This is a good kit for a builder on a budget.

VERY nice fit here. Quality construction and it looks good too. Fit perfectly with the magpul stock I put on this rifle.
