It worked
After scratching my head and watching a couple of U-tube videos it turned out to be as simple as advertised to install
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Great upgrade
Far better than the Magpul BAD lever. Once tightened, no wiggle.
High quality
High quality product. Ive used these on a number of AR builds. Theyre easy to install and makes engaging/disengaging the bolt catch with your right hand possible. I found that in most cases it works with a standard AR upper/lower receivers but usually doesnt work with billet receivers. Some billet receivers just dont have the clearance for this item to work correctly. Overall, its a very good product.
A great ambidextous item
I've equipped all my ARs with ambidextrous charging handles, safeties, slings, and now bolt releases so as to accommodate lefties that use my ARs.
Works Great
Bought this and installed on my PSA AR 15 today. Took it out and shot the AR and worked great. Makes clearing, mag changes and reloading easier.
Juat as advertised
Works great and looks good. You do have to be careful with other upgrades such as the Ambi magazine release, some will not fit. This was not an issue since I am a left handed shooter and the factory mag release on the right side is perfect.
Solid Product
Good product that worked well for several years now and still does. Aids in quicker "back-in-battery". Great customer service from Troy when needed too.
Don't buy.. It leads to buying more!
I bought one. Love it. Works great. Holds tight. Use same lower on a few cals (223,x39,300BO). No issues. Hasn't come loose after many many many rounds. So, what is the problem? When I use my other lowers, I find myself fingering for the release. It's not only helpful when releasing the bolt, it makes it so much easier to lock the bolt. I can see this being hugely important if you were in tactical ops. I just use for fun and I am an addict. So much so that I bought 2 more for my other 2 most used lowers. I am now online on black Friday buying 2 more for two friends as Christmas Presents. I am going to get them hooked too!
Solid
Will not work with a left handed Stag Arms upper, it will interfere with the dust cover, other than that good product.
Not great
Used on a Ruger SR-556E with aluminum 30 round USGI mags and 30 round PMAGs. Once attached the bolt catch moves too slow to engage to bolt after the last round is fired. Got a lot of clicks and no bang. I've seen other levers work well, perhaps this one is too heavy. Not a big issue on the range or hunting but makes for a potential bad day in a tactical or self defense situation. However, when the bolt does hold open on the last round the lever speeds reloads up by a second or two.
