Tactical charging handle can be operated by either hand from almost any position to ensure fast, easy weapon charging and jam clearance. Large, 1" long extension on the right side is easy to access under stress, even with an oversized optic on the receiver. Provides plenty of leverage to operate the handle with the trigger hand in one, fluid motion without having to separately release the latch on the left side. Comfortable finger groove in the extension helps you operate the handle by feel, without taking your eyes off the target.

best handle for lefty

Being a lefty, this is the best charging handle that I have ever used. I just grab it with my right hand, without having to depress a small release button. Just pull back. I was so bummed that they did not make it for .308's that I bought a second one and modified it to fit my AR10.

Way To Go!!

I have installed these units on several long range varmint guns I have assembled and they work great. It gives plenty or clearance when using BIG scopes.

Quality

This part seems very robust and well made. Too bad it bound up in my Stag receiver. It worked but only if I grabbed both the release and the knob on the handle itself. I think it was due to a variance in tolerances between my upper receiver and their charging handle. I am disappointed because it was a very nice unit. Oh, well, maybe it will fit on my next project.....

GREAT IDEA, JUST NOT TOUGH ENOUGH

This is such a great idea, I wish they would have made the charging handle a lot stronger. The latch is so easy grab and pull back. The first time I ripped the hugh latch back I bent the handle and that's part of it's problem. You get so much leverage with the large latch that it easily bends the cheap charging handle with looks like it's a stock mil-spec piece. For this much money they need to use a heavy duty charging handle and bring this up to competition level.
