good cleaning aid

Very durable brush you can get very aggressive with it and not harm your chamber/lug area. I use a standard metal brush first to get the bad crud loose then follow up with this brush to get everything out without the worry of damaging the chamber/lugs of my AR's.

Needs improvement

I ordered this brush for my sniper team at work to clean the chambers and locking lug recesses of the MK-11/SR-25 rifle. The plastic bristles are great since they spring back to life after getting worked in the chamber, but unfortunately, the wire that holds the bristles is too soft. The necessary twisting action to scrub the chamber will either untwist the wire, or overtighten and eventually break it off in the chamber. It needs a tough wire that can hold shape under moderate torque from the chamber rod.
