Works approx. 90% of time some types of ammo don't cycle as good as others. They need to make a .22 mag version.

AR[15 .22 LR Conversion Kit
This came up on sale, at a good price, so I snatched it. That rimfire ammo is hands down a cheaper way to practice/plink. Was happy to receive it within the week.

Mcfadden machine makes a speed loader that works on AR mags.
I can load a 25 round mag in under 2 minutes using it.
It makes shooting lots more fun.

Great product
Easy to use. Well made. Magazines that came with it however didn’t seem to work well. In desperation tried a magazine from a S&W 15-22 and it worked great.

.22lr Conversion
Swap the bolt out and you're ready to go. One thing, save yourself a headache and order the speed loader at the same time. Your fingers will thank you.
Quick conversion and so much fun
Even though it was only 15 degrees outside, I took my m&p sport 3 to the outdoor range. I fired 2 magazines of 556. Then i converted the weapon to 22 lr with the CMMG kit. The conversion was very quick and simple to do. I purchased the cmmg 25 round magazines and fired 100 rounds. The recoil is negligible. I had so much fun shooting! Great design great, idea and highly recommended!

It worked like it supposed to, very easy to install. Just pull your existing ar-15 bolt carrier and slide the .22LR carrier, close the ar15; load your magazine and done! lots of fun and training at a much cheaper price!

Simple and Reliable
I can't believe I waited this long to get a .22 Conversion kit for my AR's. This is a super simple conversion. Literally just swap out your bolt carrier and use the provided .22 mags. It takes seconds. I used it on two different 5.56 AR's with CCI Mini-Mags and it worked flawlessly. Accuracy was plenty good for plinking, which is all I wanted it for.
