It's ok...
I know these firearms aren't 1911's, but I thought a built from the ground up, self contained trigger mech would be a tad better than this. I was pretty surprised at the long travel this trigger had. I was ok with the heavy (for an aftermarket trigger) pull but it was the really short travel I was hoping for. I'm thinking that my Colt LE6920's trigger was a factory freak because there was NOT that much improvement in smoothness, pull weight or travel. I have to say the reset's awesome on this trigger because it's much shorter but that's the ONLY difference between this and my factory Colt trigger. For a hundred & 60 bucks, just pull your trigger, polish it, throw in a jp spring and be done with it. I had to fit this trigger in for a few hours by slowly taking a tad off of the back of the trigger each time because the safety catch was hard to put back on safe. Had I known this I wouldn't have done it. I don't know maybe Colt's triggers are just awesome who knows.
Marked 3 lb, measured 5 lb
I liked everything about this trigger EXCEPT it pulls at 5 lb, not the 3 lb it is marked as. I dropped it into a Balios Lite Gen 2 receiver set matched with a ODIN 20" grendel barrel. Too bad it did not deliver the 3 lbs as it is crisp, easy to install, and has a great reset. I will replace it with a Timney.
