Great fixture

I run a BC side charging upper and a lot of the fixtures designed for mil spec uppers won’t fit but this one fits great ( nice and snug). This vise block is very made and I would definitely recommend it.

Better than clam shell, by a lot !

Used this immediately after receiving. I felt like it was easier to apply torque to my barrel nut using this block rather than my clam shell. Also, my clam shell did not work for a custom skeletonized upper and this did. I will be using this product from now on.

Durable and works as advertised

I bought this to complete my first upper and it worked flawlessly. Made every part of the assembly go smoothly.

Great Product!

Just started building AR-15s and this was the right tool for the upper build. Perfect for setting and torquing the barrel. Also for hammering in the pin for the forward assist. It fit snug and tight on my upper receiver and even tested on two others. Worked great! Couldn't ask for a better tool for holding my upper in place while assembling and disassembling.

This is a solid product for a solid price. It fits snugly with upper receivers and has held up fine to any torquing required when assembling an upper. One thing to be aware of...if you need to thermal fit your barrel by applying heat dont melt the block.

Very Useful During my Recent Build

This vise block supported my receiver very well during barrel installation on my recent build. The Vise Block secures the receiver to the block with a perfect fit into the action area and with two pins at either end. Once the receiver and block were secured in the vise, barrel installation and torqueing was a very easy operation.
