Mil-spec good

Good mil-spec parts kit. Very sticky rust preventive oil coated on parts that require it, easly cleaned (I use 99% isopropyl alcohol) to clean along with a couple of pipe cleaners and good cotton patches then heat up just a little and soak in a good clp quickly after using this alcohol (any metal will rust quickly after using this alcohol as a cleaner/stripper) . Finish was complete and even. The forward assit as with most needed a good clp then a small amount of long life grease in areas that contact each other in the assembly and worked back and forth a little to smooth out the coatings gritty feeling at the pivot junction, then wiping off the exses lube before installing. The only complaint I really have is a roll pin in one kit had a bur on the end that had to be stoned down smooth before using. I allways look close at these with som magnification before installing no matter where they are to be installed. Door pins come with c clip allready installed, a big plus in my fat finger world. Pins are straight and smooth with a nice finnish. Door dentents strong and solid. Alot of other brands miss on all of these points. Purchaced on sale with free shipping made them even better as it allways does. Thankyou brownells and aero precision. Still my favorite brand and brownells still my favorite supplier.
