AR-15 UHPR MOD1 M-LOK HANDGUARDS Reviews & Ratings

Cross Machine Tool UHPR MOD1 line of handguards are made from 6000 series extruded aluminum and finished with a Milspec Type 3 Class 2 Hard Black anodize. A proprietary 7075 anodized aluminum barrel nut requires no shims for installation. M-LOK mounting slots are placed at the 3, 6, & 9 o’clock positions, and 4 anti-rotation QD sockets provided sling placement on either side, forward or rear, of the handguard. The handguard is compatible with most known low profile gas blocks. Includes barrel nut wrench.

Great Handguard

This is the easiest rail to install available IMO, feels much better in the hand & looks better then my G rail.

Awesome Handguard

This hand guard is great! It is very rigid, light weight, and has a great design w picatinny built into the front for off-set iron sights. Works extremely well in 3 Gun competition.

Just "OK"

It's cool looking and fairly lightweight. Not having to time the barrel nut is nice. But it required filing the anti rotation tabs to fit a standard ar upper receiver. The 1913/picatinny rail on top is slightly wider than the spec allows for so some sights won't fit easily. Not very rigid either, but that's somewhat expected for a "lightweight" handguard like this. In summary I think there are better options at a similar price.
