AWFUL
If there are any stars on this review, it is only because there was no option for ZERO. This is by far the absolutely worst buttstock I have ever seen. I returned it. I was seriously offended when I opened the package. Might as well have sent me a rock. It functions fine. Maybe it is tough. It looks like something you would get at a flea market for $1. The mold marks are all over it. The end of the stock where it contacts shoulder is very thin. The latch mechanism is floppy and cheap. Again, it works. I dont know how. But it works. Oh, and the sling loop does not offer any feeling of confidence. Looks like a piece of ...... Final thought: at this price ARE YOU KIDDING?

I expected quality from a name like Colt
I was shocked by the sloppy quality of poorly cut plastic edges and a few half attached shavings. The stock was almost too tight to go on a milspec buffer tube. I needed to bang it on with a hammer and required a tremendous amount of force to slide it between positions. I've never had to do this before with an AR stock. I can't help but feel like this purchase was a waste of money. Now I know why people say Colts quality has gone downhill...

Too tight for milspec tube.
Ordered for an unmodified Colt LE6920 mil-spec tube. It was too tight to fit the tube correctly. Using extreme force, I could start it on, but it would not slide. It has a Colt Cage Code number on it, but is no doubt from a bad batch/supplier. Would not recommend.

OUT OF SPEC DO NOT BUY
This is going back. Not sure who's at fault but this thing BARELY fits over a stock factory Colt buffer tube. You have to force it and it does NOT slide freely. NO WAY I'm going to have a part on my rifle that gets bound up. Something is wrong with this batch or something.
