AR-15 STEEL 6.5MM GRENDEL MAGAZINE

AR-15 STEEL 6.5MM GRENDEL MAGAZINE Reviews & Ratings

Feed your 6.5 Grendel AR-15 the right way with these purpose-built E-Lander AR-15 Magazines, designed for optimum feeding of these rounds into your long-range AR-15. E-Lander constructs their 6.5 Grendel magazines from stainless steel that is heat-treated for extra durability to stand up to the higher recoil and heftier mag spring forces needed to reliably feed these larger-diameter (than .223/5.56) rounds. There’s a heavy-duty steel floorplate to contain the high-strength magazine spring.

  • Sturdy stainless steel mag body & floorplate
  • Tough anti-corrosion coating
  • Matte black
  • Self-lubricating polymer anti-tilt follower
  • Available in 4-, 10-, 17- and 24-round capacities

The E-Lander 6.5 Grendel magazines are coated with a special material that stands up to 96 hours of salt spray without corroding. The slick polymer anti-tilt follower keeps the round stack moving smoothly for added reliability.

Made for 6.5
I've had a little trouble with some magazines feeding the 6.5 grindel. I believe that's because some 6.5 mags out there are 223/5.56 magazine boxes with a follower for the 6.5. This magazine is (I believe) specifically designed for the 6.5 cartridge and it works beautifully.

great mags
I have been using these for years hunting pigs. They always function great and are very solid. I prefer the longer 24 rd mags while I am hunting because they stick out far enough to clear my stomach while I am walking around in search of swine. I also prefer to have 24 rounds on tap when I find a group of swine because I have been known to empty the mag on them. Happy times :)

Great
Loaded up 22 ARC and it fed every round and bolt stayed ope after last shot. Not sure why it's rated so low. Probably pick up a 4 and a 17 rd mag too

BUY THESE!
I've bought a couple of these magazines, along with a few of the C-Products mags with the blue followers which are less expensive. The E-Landers are far better quality. You might get lucky with the others, but I had feeding issues with C-Products Grendel mags. I've always been a fan of their .223 AR magazines, too. In 6.5 Grendel, the E-Landers are much higher quality and have not caused any issues at all.

Well made
I was looking for a 10 round 6.5 Grendel mag for my AR, making it legal to hunt deer with. I found these E-Lander ARC mags here at Brownells, and these are high quality magazines, well worth the money-I highly recommend these!

Great Magazines
I have these magazines in 10, 17, and 24 round capacity. I use them in two different 6.5 Grendel AR-15's I put together. All function as they should. They in fact work so well I won't buy any other magazines for my 6.5 Grendels.

Excellent Mag.
Bought this mag because its a 4 round mag, which limits number of rounds (5) in your firearm, which is standard for hunting in many states; its a tough rugged mag; only issue is its brightly painted in gloss/semigloss: I painted it flat black to match my Atheris 6.5 Grendel.

Works for ARC
This is the only E-Lander magazine that works properly with 6mm ARC
