JPS3.5T produces 3.5 to 4 lb. trigger pull with JP Fire Control parts. This kit is intended for use with JP trigger parts and will not necessarily yield substantial change on standard AR-15 trigger components. Application: Use of this spring kit allows for use of ammunition with low-sensitivity primers such as those found in NATO-spec and various foreign-manufactured ammunitions, but in the case of large-frame ARs and duty/defense rifles, domestic-manufactured ammo is strongly recommended to ensure 100% ignition reliability. The JPS4.0 Tactical Spring kit will yield a 4.0-4.5 lb. trigger pull with JP Fire Control parts. This kit is intended for use with JP trigger parts and will not necessarily yield substantial change on standard AR-15 trigger components produces a 4 to 4.5 lb. trigger pull.

SPECS: Spring steel. Kit includes red-coded hammer spring, yellow-coded trigger return spring, and disconnector spring. For use on AR-style .308 rifles; not for defense or duty applications.

I use these a lot

I use JP Enterprises Enhanced spring kits in all my Mil-spec triggers. With a little polishing in the right places and a bit of sear grease, one is capable of producing a 2.5 lb consistent trigger pull.

Terrific Upgrade

I have purchased several of these and used them in conjunction with Schmid Tool & Engineering Nickel Teflon Hammer & Trigger sets. Combined, they add up to just over $50, they become a significant upgrade over a mil-spec trigger, and in my experience, has been every bit the equal of my ALG trigger.

Lowered my LBS

This install of springs lowered my trigger pull from 7.5-lbs to 5.0-lbs. I also polished the sear surfaces but I did not stone the sear. The AR-9 is brand new and I expect it to settle in at about 4.5-lbs. I shot 50 rounds after install without a hitch.

Best $10 trigger upgrade ever!

Inexpensive, moderate effort to install. Significantly lightens up the trigger pull found in a majority of basic AR-15s and LR 308 rifles. Most will find that disassembly, a good cleaning, and lubrication of the stock trigger components combined with these springs will lighten the trigger weight AND remove some creepiness. Certainly not in the same class as a Geissele replacement trigger but at $10 how can you not try a set?

Great trigger upgrade

For the price this is a great upgrade and cant go wrong with JP trigger parts. Install is great. I was not able to measure the weight after install but could easily tell it was much better than a factory spring. The rest is great and break is smooth and crisp. Without having to pay for an expensive full drop in that may or may not work this is the way to go.
