Working Great on my Aero Precision AR-15 XL upper with Aero Precision Gen 2 lower build.
Great mags
Sport shooting and hunting
Excellent Mags!
Great mag! Fired multiple rounds of .223, 5.56, and 300 B/O from 3 different weapons; Del-ton, Spikes Tactical, and DPMS with no problems at all. Slow fire and rapid fire..factory ammo and reloaded ammo..worked great. Easily dropped free from Del-ton and DPMS. Sanded a bit with fine sand paper and dropped easily from Spikes Tactical. Excellent! Would definitely recommend.
Great Mag!
I own 5 of these and have used them in 3 different AR-15 rifles (that I built) and they are perfect. No misfires and NO issues whatsoever. It is a great quality magazine and I think the textured "hex" design is perfect, as it doesn't slip out of your hand when changing the mag. Great product, and great price!
It's Okay
I haven't taken to range and used and I'll use as a back up, but the quality isn't the best form those I purchased. I ordered 5 different types of mags and ordered this one based on it's hex design, and doubt I'll order anymore.
Not good for .50 Beowulf
Advertised to be used with "AR-15 rifles/pistols chambered in .223/5.56, .300 Blackout, .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf" So I purchase 2 for my .50 Beowulf. It fail to feed properly and will not feed the last 2 rds. The bullet sit way to low in the mag. When the cartridge goes forward the bullet hits the mag and stops. It might work if the tip was pointy like the .223 not a flat HP. I will file the front of the mag so it will be in a "u" shape and hopefully it will work. Magpul mags works just fine.
Garbage
They sent me full size mags that only hold 10 rounds. Rejected my exchange request. Avoid Hexmag and Sentry.
Jams
I took this to the range fired 60 rounds from 3, 20 round lancer mags gun works fine. I try this hex mag it fired about 3 or 4 then the bullet gets stuck in the chamber from failure to feed. The feed lips are to small causing a missfeed. This is comparing to lancer an magpul. I had to go home and remove the bullet. Here is a picture. This is a very disappointing product. To the review who bought 5 and they work fine is hard to beileve. I would not recomend this product.
Failure
I own two of theese in Gray both of them failed to feed rounds into two different rifles. Neither mag worked as it should. They wont drop free when empty either.
