Does the job & does it well! My UTG wrench didnt pop off with appropriate pressure. Solid metal construction & the light grease coating helped it go on perfect! No complaints here!
Worked good for me
Got this to use on a Remington 870 with a stock adaptor. It went together well and appears to be within spec. The fit & finish are adequate and it did what its supposed to.
It works
This works. It fit the wrench better than some castle nuts I've used in the past. I was hesitant purchasing such a part from Ergo but it's perfect. Simple, not the most or least expensive (not cheap either) but it just works.

Solid USA Product
Castle nut has a standard mil-spec finish, has stake pockets which gives you the option and the front to back width measures 0.375" unlike other products which measure 0.3" wide.
Good Castle Nut
Good Nut, Correct Dimensions, Has the spots for the stacking from the endplate to enter, fits with a standard armorers wrench, tough, finish is even and strong. Great product would be a second when I need another.
Poor quality
The slots started deforming before even reaching 40 foot pounds. The metal is too soft.
Out of spec
Out of spec on my buffer tube. I had 2 other castle nuts that worked no problem. This one was too tight and took material off the threads. I had to use a spanner wrench just to turn it.
