AR-15 Pistol Buffer Tube Assembly 6061-T
This product from Brownell's Is of good quality and design. Fits all mil-spec applications and completed my pistol build with everything needed for the buffer but the brace. I read the other review but could not understand his points of negativity. What he said just does not ring true. No mods to this are needed! That person just hasn't got a clue. Great product , great price. Would but again!!!!.

Well made but limited in use
I ended up returning the one that I ordered. There was nothing wrong with the quality or price. Both were very good. I ordered a press-on stabilizing brace and it was a really loose fit. The instructions for the brace explained that you can just wrap the pistol buffer tube with electrical tape to get a better fit but I didnt like that idea. Electrical tape would be a mess eventually and doesnt belong on a gun. I ended up purchasing from Brownells the correct diameter buffer tube made by the same company as the stabilizing brace which was a perfect fit. If you dont put anything on the Brownells pistol buffer tube then its fine to use. It all depends on what you want to do with it.

Tube has isssues stay away.
For some reason this buffer tube is made unlike any other buffer tube on the market. This is not a good thing. Every other buffer tube has the side of the buffer tube near the slot for the end plate is slightly longer then the other side. This is so the buffer retaining pin can be retained by the buffer tube without the buffer tube interfering with the upper. For what ever reason the pistol buffer tube is the same length on all sides. So when the buffer retaining pin is retained by the buffer tube, the buffer tube also interferes with the upper. So buy this product if you have a hack saw or sand paper to grind it down, or spend your money elsewhere on something that will fit out of the box.
