High Demand
Overnight these have become a insanely high demand product because of the heightened climate and the political world. I would not be surprised to be completely honest with everybody rushing to buy these to avoid criminal charges this will shortly be out of stock and be insanely hard to keep in stock. the tube is good quality there's no thrills it's plain Jane nothing to write home about to be honest it's just a pistol tube to prevent you from shouldering or installing a brace on. We are going back to the days where we had pistol tubes with that foam padding around them….

Easy fix if you need a retainer notch
Its well made. Bought it twice for two separate builds. I use it with the SA folding stock adapter. If you truly need a notch for the retainer pin, simply grab a file a make one. Easy 5 minute fix.

high quality
This is a quality product. The other reviews are just strange. If you're looking for a pistol buffer tube that's what this is! If your looking for an airplane go to the airport. Brownells makes quality products.

Lightest Pistol Buffer Tube
This is an amazing product for the price. I have no idea why the one reviewer thought this was so difficult to install. This tube weighs 3oz and therefore is the lightest one that I currently know of. For the price you cannot go wrong.

Will not fit SB tactical brace
Good value, but it won't fit with my SB tactical brace because it is too small. I will use some tape to fill the gap in order to make the brace fit on tight.

3 out of 5
I bought two of these to use with AR pistols and Sig SBX braces. Their quality looks good, and they were easy to install. I had no issues with them preventing the upper from mating or working with the buffer retainer. The biggest limitation is that they aren't big enough for a firm fit of the SBX: The brace just slides around. I'm not too worried, as I'll just add some friction tape to the buffer until the braces stick where I want them.

I should've looked more closely
There is no notch for the buffer retainer. I either had to over run the tube to hold the retainer, which caused receiver mating issues, or back off the tube which wouldn't hold the retainer. If you're using a silent capture buffer, this would probably work. If not, it will not without modifications.
